About EpiFive

EpiFive writes up the systems work that rarely makes it into documentation: the migration runbooks, the failover tests, the identity policies and the reasons behind each choice.

Who it is for

Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administrators, cloud and infrastructure engineers, and the IT managers and architects who have to sign off on the plan. Every guide tries to answer the questions you have at 11pm on a cutover night: what exactly do I run, in what order, what will users notice, and how do I roll back.

What you will find

  • Step-by-step guides for Microsoft 365 migrations, Exchange Online and tenant administration.
  • Identity and security design with Entra ID, Conditional Access and Zero Trust access.
  • Cloud, database and architecture write-ups that explain the trade-offs, not just the happy path.
  • Fixes for the error messages people actually search for.

How guides are written

  • Commands, settings, limits and licence requirements are taken from the vendor's official documentation.
  • Each guide ends with a References section linking the sources it relies on.
  • Anything that cannot be verified is left out rather than guessed.
  • Guides are updated when products change, and the updated date is shown at the top.

Products change faster than any blog. If a step no longer matches what you see in the admin centre, email epifive2@gmail.com and it will be corrected.
